The following practice assignment requires you to answer this question:

 Discuss two aspects of the narrative genre that can help readers better understand Old Testament narratives.

 In this assignment you should show that you are able to:

  • Embed a cover page into a word document
  • Develop a thesis statement
  • Write topic sentences and structure paragraphs
  • Paraphrase a section of text
  • Quote from a section of text
  • Create a block quote of a section of text (between 30 and 40 words)
  • Avoid plagiarism
  • Summarise your thesis into an abstract
  • Use footnotes (or in text referencing if a Counselling student)
  • Find a text in the library or online
  • Create a Bibliography/Reference List

EndNote reference import

  • In EndNote Web go to Collect > Import references
  • Click on Choose File... and select the text file of references to be imported
  • Under Import Option select EndNote Import
