As you start to study you will probably wish that you could read more quickly and still comprehend everything!
A simple web search about Speed Reading will give you plenty of results. You could explore these and see if they work for you.
At a deeper level, what you need to develop is being able to read at a manageable speed for maximum comprehension. This will help you understand and connect what you are reading to the bigger picture.
